Chelsea manager Antonio Conte plans to improve his attack in the summer with the addition of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, according to a report.

Spanish website Diario Gol claims Morata has become frustrated with a perceived lack of opportunities at Madrid, where he is second-choice striker behind Karim Benzema. The Spanish international is reportedly aware of Conte's interest in him.

Conte, of course, knows Morata from their time together at Juventus. The Italian remains unimpressed by 2016 summer signing Michy Batshuayi and may face another battle to ward off Chinese Super League interest in Diego Costa.

Madrid president Florentino Perez values Morata at around £42.8 million, while Chelsea is understood to want to pay only around £34.2 million.
