The Buffalo Bills have been without one of their star players, as defensive tackle Ed Oliver has only played in Week 1, before an ankle injury resulted in him missing the next three games. Oliver secured one sack and one forced fumble in the game, but has not been able to take the field since.

For some reason, wild rumors began to swirl about why Oliver was injured and why it had taken so long for him to return to the field. When speaking to reporters, Oliver assured everyone that his ankle injury was a result of a fellow player stepping on his leg.
"I got stepped on at practice. Is that what you heard? I heard I fell off a horse, a horse hurt me. I've heard all kinds of stuff, but I promise you I got stepped on at practice," Oliver said.

Oliver was laughing while delivering the news and reiterating that his ankle was merely stepped on. While the rumor of him being injured by a horse is false, getting an ankle stepped on is no laughing matter.
Oliver has needed weeks to heal from the ankle injury, but he has since returned to practice on a limited basis. This is a good sign for the star defensive tackle, and signs are pointing to him potentially making it back out on the field when the Bills take on the New England Patriots on Sunday.
The Bills and Patriots will wear their special NFL Rivalries jerseys, which feature an all-white uniform and helmet for Buffalo.
Despite Oliver being out for weeks, the Bills hold a 4-0 undefeated record. With him on the field, the defense would be far more formidable.
