Emmy and Tony award-winning actress Swoosie Kurtz stars as Sheila, Kat's controlling mother who is desperate for her daughter to find a husband.

What Will Happen in Call Me Kat Season 2?

Call Me Kat Season 2 is set to pick up from the complicated love-triangle Kat found herself in the middle of at the end of Season 1.

Kat's feelings for her best friend from college Max (played by Cheyenne Jackson) are undeniable and in the Season 1 finale, Kat was trying to figure out whether to stay with her new boyfriend Oscar (Christopher Rivas) or tell Max how she really feels.

The synopsis for Season 2 via TV Insider teases Kat will "find herself in all sorts of predicaments, handling them as only she can — with joy, humor, and positivity."

The new season will begin with a fun Blossom reunion, with Bialik's Blossom co-stars from the 90s sitcom Joey Lawrence, Jenna von Oy, and Michael Stoyanov guest starring as themselves.

The Blossom trio is in town for a celebrity golf tournament and decides to stop by Kat's Cat Café.

Call Me Kat premieres Sunday, January 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
