'Dear Class of 2020' Line-Up: Who Are the Speakers and Performers on the YouTube Graduation Special?

YouTube is set to release the latest online graduation special, with a roster of a-list celebrities giving commencement addresses and performing musical numbers. Dear Class of 2020 begins on June 6 at 3 p.m. EDT / noon PDT on YouTube, the YouTube Originals channel and the streamer's Learn@Home site.

The special will be what Variety calls a "festival-style" program, with commencement speeches by the likes of Barack and Michelle Obama and Beyonce joined by performances from stars like Lizzo and Camila Cabello. This will then be followed by a graduation party headlined by worldwide megastars BTS.

At DearClassof2020.net, the special is also asking viewers to submit their own videos to feature in the multi-hour graduation special.

The YouTube commencement is the last of the major digital graduation ceremonies that have been created due to the coronavirus preventing many from being able to graduate in person. Celebrities are varied as Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey and cult movie director John Waters have also recorded commencement speeches for the class of 2020, available to stream online now.
