Dog Howls on Video Call With Canine Pal in Hilarious Viral Clip

Many of us have become familiar with video conference sites such as Zoom or Facetime owing to quarantine during the pandemic.

But, according to one TikTok video which has recently gone viral, it wasn't just humans who got in on the action.

In the clip, which was shared to the app by Sumoflifeofficial, we can see a large fluffy dog jumping up in a living room and howling at the large TV.

Why? Because there is a huge white dog on screen screen howling right back at him. Text overlaying the footage: "So my dog FaceTimed his friend today."

The video was originally shared on January 25 on TikTok, alongside the caption: "Quarantine is getting to skib."

The post gained lots of traction with 787,200 views and more than135,800 likes.

It was reposted to popular Instagram meme account Pubity on December 8 where it has gone very viral with more than 8.7 million views and 685,000 likes.

Many people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on the adorable footage.

One social media user, Eliasherrera1, wrote: "Dogs are having zoom meeting and bots are looking for partners in the comments. Ahh the future!!"

Another person, Chilly~ hoe, added: "Are we not going to talk about the proportions of fire place vs. tv."

Recently a photograph of a dog enjoying another typically human pursuit went viral on Reddit.

In the snap, which was shared by an account called Pacmaneatsfruit we can see a white and gray dog staring out of a car window at some Christmas lights—which are reflected in the body of the vehicle below.

The photo is made all the more adorable by the look of wonderment in the canine's eyes as he gazes at the brightly colored decorations.

"My wife and I don't have kids yet so we take our dog out to look at the lights. He absolutely loves it," Pacmaneatsfruit explained in the caption.
