The internet quickly fell in love with a canine who pulled out her best puppy-dog eyes as she pleaded with her owner to bring home a stray she found.
TikTok user @officialqueencocca couldn't believe her eyes when her dog, Nova, came back toward the house with another canine in tow. The owner immediately told Nova no, saying she wouldn't let the other dog in. She didn't know who owned the dog and if the dog had any diseases. But Nova wouldn't back down.
She refused to go inside and leave her new friend behind. Both dogs sat outside, holding onto hope that the owner would eventually give in, which is exactly what happened about 15 minutes later.

Their secret manipulation plan of appearing on the verge of tears worked. Plus, the stray Nova brought home held his paw up as if he hurt it for an extra tug on the owner's heartstrings. The owner caved and opened the door to them both while she figured out what to do next.
Part of the caption on the February 5 video reads: "My dog wants to save every dog this ain't the first time! Omg what do I do!!!!! Who's dog is dis?"

...
The owner knew she had been manipulated as soon as she let the dogs go inside. The stray dog's paw magically healed. He walked around the room with ease.
In a follow-up video, the woman explained she received a tip about who owned the dog. She sent messages to the owner through mutual friends that she had the dog, but the owner never reached back out.
That's when she started to think this happened for a reason. She commented on the video: "I believe God brought me to him!" She's thinking about naming him Skipper, although she asked for suggestions.

Viewer Reactions
With over 4.1 million views and 444,100 likes as of Tuesday, TikTok viewers immediately became invested. They too would've given in after seeing those puppy dog eyes begging to stay together.
"They definitely had a conversation before they got there," commented one viewer.
Another wrote: "Nova said, 'Act like your foot hurt, ima look sad, she'll let u in.'"
A third said: "Dude it's the tears for me bro... how I could not say no and if the dog isn't chipped it's now family!"
