Dwayne Johnson Hits Out at Unprofessional 'Fast 8' Co-Stars

The central theme of 2015's Furious 7, the final movie in the series featuring the late Paul Walker, was the importance of family. But it looks like relations among the previously tight-knit cast have turned decidedly frosty on the set of new movie Fast 8.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who plays Hobbs in the franchise, took to his Instagram Monday night to scold unidentified male castmates on the action flick.

Johnson, who said he is at the tail-end of filming his scenes for the new movie, wrote: "There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. Universal has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em.

"My male co-stars however are a different story," he continued. "Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling—you're right."

He posted the comments alongside a video from the set, depicting his character slamming a stuntman into a wall from the film set. Perhaps a warning not to get on the wrong side of the former wrestling champion?

Johnson reunites with Fast & Furious co-stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Nathalie Emmanuel, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris for the next installment.

Newcomers to the series include Oscar-winning actor Charlize Theron as the franchise's first female villain, Scott Eastwood and Game of Thrones' Kristofer Hivju.

Fast 8 is due for release in April 2017.
