Epic Store Free Games Full List: Which Games Are Free This Week? How to Claim Your Free Games

Epic Games Store has announced that its weekly free game giveaway will continue into 2020. Every Thursday at 11 a.m. ET, Epic will make one, two, or three games free to download, and Newsweek will keep readers updated with which games are available each week.

Epic Games has given away major games, including Assassin's Creed: Syndicate and Watch Dogs, as well as indie games like The Bridge and A Short Hike. The gaming platform faced controversy in February when it made the game Pandemic free, as the coronavirus was spreading to countries around the world.

Epic Games then surprised fans on May 7, when instead of revealing which game would be free the following week, it announced that a "mystery game" would become available on May 14. This was the first time Epic Games had announced a mystery game in its 2020 giveaway series.

To claim your free game, log in to your Epic Games account and simply click the "get" button on the free game to download it. Once you have downloaded the game, it is yours to keep.
