Everything Harry Styles Does in His 1 Minute of Screen-Time in 'Eternals'

Never underestimate the power of a pop star because they're able to command attention even with the shortest amount of screen-time.

This is certainly the case for Harry Styles, whose appearance in Marvel's latest film Eternals was leaked before the film even came out officially.

And, even though, fans were very excited by the news that the singer was going to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), they were probably disappointed when they learned he wasn't in the film for that long.

Here, Newsweek breaks down everything Styles does in his 1 minute onscreen.

A big entrance

Styles' Eros is introduced by his trusty sidekick Pip the Troll who is voiced by Patton Oswalt.

He does this during the end-credits scene, appearing out of nowhere in the Eternals spaceship, the Domo, where Thena (Angelina Jolie), Druig (Barry Keoghan) and Makkari (Lauren Ridloff) are.

The three Eternals left their comrades behind on Earth and went travelling across the galaxies in search of other versions of themselves so they can reveal the truth: That they are sent on missions to other planets to help bring about the birth of a Celestial at the cost of billions of other lifeforms.

Pip interrupts this journey of theirs and gives a grand introduction to "Thanos' brother" Eros of Titan, also known as Starfox, the character Styles is playing.

He also preludes his entrance by saying he defeated "Black Roger", which seems to be a reference to the comic book character Dark Roger.

A quick chat

Styles certainly looks the part of a superhero as he is dressed in Starfox's red and white costume, he also has red hair to match the Marvel Comics character.

However, he doesn't say much during his debut as a Marvel superhero, but he does tell Thena, Druig and Makkari that their "friends are in big trouble and we know where to find them."

Starfox is making a reference to the very end of Eternals which saw Arisham abduct Sersi (Gemma Chan), Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani), and Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) for stopping the emergence of new celestial Tiamut.

His suggestion that he join up with the trio and help them find their fellow Eternals seems like a clear set-up for Eternals 2.

At the end Foreigner's "Feels Like the First Time" can be heard in the background, which may well be a nod to the soundtrack of The Guardians of the Galaxy.

Eternals is out in theaters now.
