'FBI' Season 4: Release Date, Cast, Trailer and Plot

FBI examines how the Federal Bureau of Investigation works, focusing especially on its New York Office.

The CBS show is set to return for its fourth season, which will also link to its two spin-off shows FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International.

The crime drama has been airing since 2018, and the new season's premiere is the first of a three-part crossover between it and its sister shows.

Here is everything you need to know about the show's latest season.

When Is FBI Season 4 Out?

The new season of FBI will begin with the episode "All that Glitters," which will feature a storyline that will continue in the first episode of FBI: Most Wanted's third season and then conclude in the premiere of FBI: International.

FBI will return to CBS on September 21, 2021, airing weekly on the channel from there, and it's currently unclear how many episodes are in the fourth season.

The crime drama will then continue with the episode "Hacktivist," which has been written by Claire Demorest and directed by Jean de Segonzac.

Who Will Star in FBI Season 4?

FBI has a large ensemble cast led by Missy Peregrym and Zeeko Zaki. The former portrays FBI special agent Maggie Bell and Zaki plays her junior partner Omar Adom "O. A." Zidan.

Jeremy Sisto will return as Jubal Valentine, who is an FBI assistant special agent-in charge, and Alana de la Garza will also be back as Isobel Castille, a special agent in charge.

Also reprising their roles are John Boyd as Stuart Scola and Katherine Renee Turner as Tiffany Wallace, while Derek Hedlund, James Chen and Thomas Phillip O'Neil will also continue to have recurring appearances in the show.

Taylor Anthony Miller, Vedette Lim and Roshawn Franklin round off the recurring cast as FBI analyst Kelly Moran, FBI intelligence analyst Elise Taylor, and FBI special agent Trevor Hobbs, respectively.

What Happens in FBI Season 4?

The FBI's three-part crossover event will begin in the first episode of FBI season 4 and follow Maggie and the team's investigation of the death of a woman after a lavish yacht party that was attended by a number of influential people.

Maggie brings in Special Agent Kenny Crosby from FBI: Most Wanted during the investigation, as he knew one of the murder suspects and trained with him in several army operations.

Is There a Trailer for FBI Season 4?

While a trailer has yet to be released for the entirety of FBI season 4, there is one that teases the three-part crossover event.

Teasing what was to come in the three shows, the preview showed dramatic shoot-outs, team collaborations and cases of murder, child abduction and hacking.

FBI season 4 airs weekly on CBS from September 21.
