Here's What We Know About Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly's Relationship So Far

Adding more spark to the rumors that they've reportedly hooked up, Megan Fox appears in Machine Gun Kelly's steamy new music video, "Bloody Valentine." The question of whether or not Fox has a new man in her life has been percolating since her recent split with husband Brian Austin Green after nearly 10 years of marriage.

Of course, the video is bound to fuel more speculation about Fox and Kelly. The clip starts off with the rapper waking up next to the Jennifer Body's actress in bed. From then on, Fox lip-syncs to the lyrics after she slaps pink duct tape over the Kelly's mouth. The twisted romance turns deadly when she dumps her hair dryer into the bathtub, electrocuting the Tickets to My Downfall rapper in the water.

The video comes just a couple of days after Brian Austin Green revealed on his podcast, ...with Brian Austin Green, that he and Fox have been separated for a few months. Green said he still loves his wife, and insisted that no one be cast as the bad guy in their split. He also mentioned that he's met Machine Gun Kelly and described him as a "nice, genuine guy" on his podcast. Green didn't confirm that Kelly and Fox are a couple, and said they're only friends at this point.

But that hasn't stopped people from guessing at the pair's relationship status. Here's everything we know about Fox and Kelly's relationship at the moment:

A Message on Fox's Birthday?

A day before, on Fox's birthday, Green seems to have hinted at the breakup of his and Fox's marriage. In an Instagram post, the Beverly Hills 90210 actor wrote about a butterfly who got "bored sitting on a flower for too long." Fox has a tattoo over on her right shoulder blade that states, "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies."

Green added, "They start feeling smothered. It's a great big world and they want to experience it."

Growing Apart While at Work

About three months ago, the coronavirus pandemic halted production on the upcoming thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass, which Fox is starring in and was filming in Puerto Rico.

This timeline synchs up with what Green said on his podcast, about Fox being away for a project and returning with a whole perspective on herself.

Green stated, "She said, 'You know what, I realized while I was out of the country working alone, that I feel more like myself and I liked myself better during that experience. And I think that's something that might be worth trying for me.'"

(First-time director Randall Emmett hopes to go back to Puerto Rico at some point, to finish up filming on Switchgrass, per Deadline.)

Kelly Joins the Cast

When shooting commenced in March, several additions to the cast were announced, including Lukas Haas, Sistine Stallone and Machine Gun Kelly.

According to the film's IMDb page, Kelly's role has not been made public. Fox, meanwhile, will be playing the role of FBI agent Rebecca Lombardi, who's trying to catch a serial killer.
