Joe Biden's 'Incompetence' Making It Easy for Trump to Win in 2024—Eric Trump

Eric Trump has claimed President Joe Biden's "incompetence" is making his father's decision to run for the presidency in 2024 easier.

In an appearance on conservative news network Newsmax, Eric Trump Trump suggested former president Donald Trump would easily defeat Biden in the next presidential election.

"What's the latest on 2024? Where's his heart right now?" Newsmax host Greg Kelly asked Eric Trump on Tuesday night.

Eric Trump responded that "a lot of people" across the country want to see his father back in the White House.

"There's half this country right now that feel they don't have a spokesperson, they have no voice," he said.

"You've got another major amount of the country who thinks that they made a terrible mistake electing this guy... a lot of people are saying we made a major mistake."

Eric Trump then went on to list a number of reasons Americans are suffering since his father left office earlier this year.

They included assertions of spiking crime, rising fuel and commodity prices and the "mess" at the U.S.-Mexico border. Eric Trump also claimed there was a "lack of respect" from Russian President Vladimir Putin to Biden.

"You have a lot of people out there who say, you know, I really miss Trump... I might not have liked every single tweet he sent, but the guy was incredibly effective," he continued.

"I think every single day that Biden messes up our nation, I think it further incentivizes my father and frankly, our entire family, to do it again."

Referencing criminal probes into his father's business empire, Eric Trump said were attempts to "disqualify" the elder Trump from running for office again. "They know he's the strongest political force, Greg, on this side of the aisle by far. They'll do anything they can to take the guy down."

Eric Trump also said he believes the 2022 midterm elections will be "an absolute bloodbath" for the Democratic Party. And he added that he thinks the 2024 election "is gonna surprise everybody."

Of Biden, he said: "This guy is making it easy with his incompetence, and we're gonna walk through that door. I'm telling you, we're gonna walk through that door."

Kelly responded with enthusiasm. "I'm glad 'cause the door is open in 2022 and 2024," he said.

"It's a big door and it's very open, Greg," Eric Trump replied.

Donald Trump, the country's 45th president, left office in January this year after serving a single term as president.

If the 75-year-old were to win and serve a second non-consecutive term, he would become only the second president to do so. The first was Grover Cleveland, who was the nation's 22nd president from 1885 to 1889 and the 24th president from 1893 to 1897.
