Come August 23, Jon Stewart will take the title of "host" yet again, at the WWE's SummerSlamevent in Brooklyn.

The recently retired Daily Show host, a known wrestling fan, will be master of ceremonies at the wrestling showcase, which is taking place at the Barclays Center and airing live on the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) Network. The news was first reported by USA Today and confirmed on the WWE's website.

Stewart previously got involved in the world of professional wrestling when he repeatedly taunted heavyweight champion Seth Rollins, who made a surprise appearance on The Daily Show in February. The two appeared together on WWE Monday Night Raw the following month.

The SummerSlamevent will involve Rollins and fellow wrestler John Cena, as well as a match between Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker.

Stewart has spent nearly two weeks as a free agent since hosting his final episode of The Daily Show on August 6.
