A woman whose dog is notorious for its reaction to letters being posted through the door wanted to see exactly what it looked like from the other side.
Alicia, who posts to TikTok under the username @aliciarees10, took to the app on May 11 where she posted a video showing what the letters posted to her house see every time.
Summing the experience up, she wrote across the clip: "POV [point of view]: You're the letter being posted."

Alicia then stuck her phone through the letter box—and, after getting through the brush on the inside, it emerged on the other side to see a small white dog, standing on its hind legs.
The pup snapped at the phone as if trying to get it in its mouth, then jumped several times, snapping and trying to reach it. The dog then took a different approach, standing back—still on its hind legs—eyes wide, and began growling.
Never taking its eyes off the phone, the pup growled and barked, landing on its four legs only to get a running jump at the phone—but, thankfully, to no avail.
TikTok users were in stitches, viewing the video close to half-a-million times and awarding it more than 86,000 likes.
And commenters wrote about the idea that they were, indeed, the letter being posted, as one posted: "First time being a letter, kind of nervous but also excited to meet the dog."
"Mum I don't wanna be a letter anymore," another said, as a third commented: "I don't think this job's the right fit for me."
"Why'd you put me in face first like that? Could've lost my nose," one comment read.
And as another added: "So not only did I feel claustrophobic going through the letter box, I then emerge and nearly had my head bitten off. Being a letter isn't for me."

Dogs usually bark to alert family to the presence of visitors, scare off intruders, or both. This can lead to a canine regularly barking when they hear people coming to the door, including the mail carrier delivering letters, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
There are ways to wean an animal off this behavior, including by blocking the dog from being able to see an approaching visitor to the door, or training it to go to a different area when they alert to a visitor, and waiting there until they are told they are allowed to greet.
