Leah Remini has spoken out against Tom Cruise and his Scientology connections amid the ongoing success of the new Top Gun movie.
The King of Queens star is famously one of Scientology's biggest critics, having left the church in 2013, while Cruise is perhaps one of the most famous people to be associated with it.
The actress has now warned fans of Cruise not to be "charmed" by him following the success of the summer blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick.
"Don't let the movie star charm fool you," Remini said on Twitter over the weekend.
The 51-year-old's post came as part of her praise for her friend Claire Headley for calling out Cruise's alleged "crimes against humanity."
Thank you to my friend @claireheadley for your courage.

You have continued to speak out despite the non-stop attacks from Scientology.
And as Claire says in her post below, Tom Cruise knows exactly what goes on in Scientology.

Headley, along with her husband Marc Headley, is another former Scientologist who is well-known staunch critic of the church and its practices.
"Glad all you Top Gun fans are enjoying the new movie," Headley wrote in a Facebook post screenshotted by Remini. "Personally, recent posts about this movie only serve to remind me of Tom Cruise and his crimes against humanity."
Headley continued: "Extreme, you may think? Destroying families is a crime against humanity. My opinion. Ask yourself: When is the last time Tom talked to his only biological daughter, Suri?"
The Headleys filed a court case against the Church of Scientology in 2009, alleging that the organization violated human trafficking laws and people's human rights.
Meanwhile, Remini won a Television Critics Association award for her series, which denounces Scientology, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath in 2017. In 2015, she published a memoir, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.
In her post, Headley accused Cruise of promoting "a dangerous cult that destroyed my family," adding: "So no, I will not watch the movie, nor will I ever support or approve of this scam of a man."
"Trust me, Tom Cruise knows exactly who he is supporting and the abuses the organization perpetuates."
Remini thanked Headley on Twitter, writing: "Thank you to my friend

Last month, Remini shared a TikTok user's rant about Cruise and Scientology amid the release of the new Top Gun movie.
In the clip, TikTok creator @skchgo shared an interview clip of Cruise co-star Miles Teller praising the actor and asking: "Oh is this what we're doing now? We just completely forgot about the fact that he's in Scientology?
"We completely forgot about the fact that like, you know, he's second in command in Scientology? We're gonna forget about Leah Remini and the stories that Leah Remini shared about leaving Scientology and the impact that Tom Cruise has on Scientology. No, we're not."
Newsweek has reached out to Cruise's representative for comment.
