Lin Wood Urges Mike Pence to Review Hunter Biden Allegations Before Certifying Election

Prominent Georgia attorney Lin Wood has called on Vice President Mike Pence to examine unproven allegations against President-elect Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, before certifying the presidential election results on January 6.

Wood has helped allies of President Donald Trump file challenges to the 2020 election results but these have been overwhelmingly unsuccessful. On Wednesday, Wood took to Twitter and raised the issue of a laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden.

"I am 100% confident that if @VP or members of Congress spent 15 minutes reviewing contents of Hunter Biden laptop, they would NEVER let Joey 'Bribes' Biden get within missile range of White House," Wood wrote.

"Biden is a CCP [Chinese Communist Party] puppet, a criminal, & a pervert. A few other things too. None good."

The laptop in question caused a furor among Trump supporters during the election and was promoted by the president's personal attorney, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

However, no evidence emerged tying the Bidens to the laptop. Emails on the computer were also not definitively linked to them.

A separate Republican-led Senate investigation also found no evidence of wrongdoing on their part following allegations about Hunter Biden's foreign business dealings.

Wood sent a second tweet on Wednesday, also tagging Pence's accounts, that included what appeared to be a cropped screenshot of an email on a Windows computer.

"Call me old-fashioned, but I think that @VP @Mike_Pence & Congress should demand an explanation about this email (& others) from Joey 'Bribes' Biden, brother James (Jim), son Robert (Hunter), 'O' & the Buccini's before certifying a fraudulent election," Wood said.

It's unclear if "O" is a reference to former President Barack Obama but Robert and Christopher Buccini are prominent businessmen based in Biden's hometown of Wilmington, Delaware who are known to be close to the president-elect.

Wood also offered harsh criticism of Pence on social media site Parler on Wednesday, just days before the vice president is due to oversee the final phase of the presidential election.

"I do NOT trust VP Mike Pence," Wood wrote. "He is wolf in sheep's clothing. Pence is only focused on himself & 2024. He does not support President Trump. Let Pence hear your voices & read your words. If he does not support Trump, his career is over. Warn him."

Congress will meet on January 6 to formally certify Biden's Electoral College win. Some Republicans have suggested they'll object to ratification from certain states where Trump and others have alleged voter fraud.

Any such efforts are unlikely to hand Trump a last minute victory as both chambers would have to agree to reject a slate of electors. Pence will preside over the process as part of his constitutional duties.
