Manchester United winger Memphis Depay struggled to fit in at Old Trafford over a season and a half after signing in the summer of 2015 under the management of Louis Van Gaal.
But since moving to Lyon of Ligue 1 on loan in January, Depay has reminded United why it paid a reported £16 million for his services.
That continued Sunday at Stade des Lumieres in Lyon when Depay struck an audacious lob from the halfway line in a 4-0 victory over Toulouse.
You can watch the strike below. Jose Mourinho will no doubt have taken note, and the Portuguese would be forgiven for wondering why Depay could not produce this on a more regular basis for his parent club.
Memphis scores from halfway... 👍🏻👏👀 https://t.co/BrZPOajDMs
