New Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner Takes Its Place Atop the Company's Lineup

The third member of the Bentley Mulliner Collections portfolio has been revealed as a customized take on the the Flying Spur. It was designed, engineered, and handcrafted in Great Britain.

Taking its place as the flagship member of the Bentley range, the finely crafted automobile rides on Mulliner 22-inch wheels that have been painted gray and polished. The car's self-leveling wheel caps remain upright as the wheels rotate.

Up front is a Double Diamond grille with chrome front lower grille that matches the bespoke Mulliner branded wing vents and Satin Silver painted mirror caps. Special touches complete the look including an illuminated Bentley Flying B and jewel fuel and oil caps.

The Flying Spur Mulliner is available with Bentley's V6 hybrid, twin-turbo V8 or twin-turbo W12 power plant. The largest engine hauls the car from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 207 mph. The V8 is slightly slower, taking 4.0 seconds to hit 60 mph, and it tops out at just 198 mph. The hybrid powertrain is more efficient but takes 4.1 seconds to hit 60 mph from a standstill. It has a top speed of 177 mph.

Outer tread plates and deep-pile Mulliner overcast welcome passengers into the cabin of the car. Mulliner offers the interior of the model with the buyer's choice of eight custom-made, three-color combinations.

The seats are hand-stitched and feature a diamond-in-diamond quilting pattern that took 18 months to develop. Each diamond contains 712 individual stitches, each one alighted to the exact center of the diamond it creates.

Further high levels of craftsmanship are visible on the console and trim. A diamond milled technical finish has been applied to the front and rear console. The cockpit is trimmed with accent color piping and finishes beneath the waistrail, bringing attention to the Bentley B chrome overlays. A brushed silver Mulliner clock sits at the center of the dashboard.

Additionally, the car's instrument panel gets new Mulliner graphics and there are sport pedals, a heated duo-tone three-spoke steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, and electronically deployable picnic tables for rear-seat passengers to use.

Each Flying Spur Mulliner is delivered of their leather-bound keys in a Mulliner-branded, handcrafted presentation box that matches the interior of their vehicle.

Pricing is not currently available for the model. Potential buyers should expect to pay well over $200,000 for the model.
