Season 1 of HBO Max's Peacemaker is coming to an end on Thursday, February 17, but there's plenty more in the pipeline for fans of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and the Arrowverse to look forward to.

From ongoing shows like The Flash to new films like Black Adam, there's really something for everyone to enjoy, on both the big and small screen.

Here, Newsweek give a guide to everything that is in production or has been announced within the DC franchise.

Which DC Films Are Coming Next After 'Peacemaker'?

The good news for DC fans is they won't have to wait long for the next film in the franchise, because the first to be released following the conclusion of Peacemaker is The Batman.

Robert Pattinson makes his debut as the caped crusader in Matt Reeves' take on the hero, and the Twilight actor will be joined by Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Penguin, and Paul Dano as The Riddler.

The Batman is not set within the DCEU as Ben Affleck remains the iteration of the Dark Knight in it. The film will be released theatrically on March 4 and will become available on HBO Max 45 days later.

Next in the DC film franchise is Black Adam, which will star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the title role, and he is joined by Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.

Black Adam will receive a theatrical release on Friday, July 29, and like The Batman, will launch on HBO Max afterwards.

Another DC film in the works is Ezra Miller's The Flash, which will see Affleck and Michael Keaton both return as Batman.

The Flash is currently scheduled for a November 4 release in the U.S.

Other films currently in the works include Aquaman sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and Shazam! sequel Shazam! The Fury of the Gods.

Meanwhile, Batgirl is currently being filmed and will see Leslie Grace make her debut as Barbara Gordon. It will be released exclusively on HBO Max in 2022.

Which New DC Shows Have Been Announced?

The aforementioned The Batman has spawned two different spin-off shows at HBO Max, one focused on Farrell's Penguin and an as-yet-untitled show about the Gotham Police Department.
