Paramount+ is the latest entrant into the 'streaming wars,' with ViacomCBS set to rebrand and expand CBS All Access to compete with streaming services from other entertainment giants like HBO Max (from WarnerMedia) and Peacock (NBCUniversal). The streaming service, coming in March, has announced dozens of new shows that will be coming to the streamer in the upcoming months and years.
As has become standard with these streaming services, Paramount+ is making the most of ViacomCBS's extensive intellectual property with a whole host of reboots, sequels and spin-offs. These range from the seemingly inevitable (a Frasier reboot, two spin-offs from the world of Yellowstone) to the bizarre (series based on Grease and Flashdance, and a reality show bringing back together all the contestants from the original Real World).
