POKEMON GO BATTLE LEAGUE SEASON 4 CHANGES

With every new season there are changes to many aspects of the Battle League. First, the rank progression will be changing. Trainers can reach rank 2 by completing a certain number of battles, and can reach ranks 3 through 9 by winning certain numbers of battles. The number of battles needed was not confirmed by Niantic.

As for reaching rank 10, trainers will need to have a rating of 3,000, similar to past Pokémon Go Battle League seasons.

Lunge, a Bug-type Charged Attack will be added to Pokémon Go with the start of Season 4. This attack will lower the opposing Pokémon's Attack and can only be learned by Masquerain and Galvantula.

As for updating already existing moves, Bug Buzz will have a chance of lowering the opposing Pokémon's Defense, Flame Charge will deal less damage but will raise the user's Attack, and Signal Beam will have a chance of lowering the opposing Pokémon's Attack and Defense.

Vespiquen will have the ability to learn Signal Beam with the start of Season 4.
