SUICUNE RAID COUNTERS

Suicune is a pure Water-type Pokémon, making it weak to just Grass and Electric-type Pokémon.

Thankfully for Pokémon Go trainers, there are plenty of Grass and Electric-type Pokémon that can help take down Suicune, including a few Megas and Legendaries. If you're looking for an advantage, there are three Mega Pokémon that will work very well against Suicune.

Mega Venusaur and Mega Abomasnow are great Grass-type options to tank Suicune's Water-type attacks and also deal a lot of damage. Both will also increase the power of Grass-type attacks for you and your teammates' Pokémon.

The new option, Mega Ampharos can also take Suicune's Water-type attacks and increase the power of Electric-type moves of you and other trainers' Pokémon.

Here's a list of Pokémon that trainers should consider taking into battle against Suicune:

  • Mega Venusaur with Vine Whip and Frenzy Plant
  • Mega Ampharos with Charge Beam and Thunder Punch
  • Mega Abomasnow with Razor Leaf and Energy Ball
  • Zekrom with Charge Beam and Wild Charge
  • Raikou with Volt Switch and Wild Charge
  • Zapdos with Thunder Shock and Thunderbolt
  • Electivire with Thunder Shock and Wild Charge
  • Magnezone with Spark and Wild Charge
  • Leafeon with Razor Leaf and Leaf Blade
  • Tangrowth with Vine Whip and Power Whip
