Pokémon Switch Title Leaks? May Have 'Pokémon Go' Features

We're still about a month away from E3 2018, but it seems the upcoming Pokémon Switch title and features have leaked ahead of any planned announcement from Nintendo or The Pokémon Company.

Before we dive into the information, remember that this none of this is confirmed until Nintendo or TPC announce it themselves.

The Pokémon Switch leak started with industry insider Emily Rogers confirming on her blog that Pokémon Switch will be revealed before the end of May and that there will be two versions. She also said that the games will "raise a few eyebrows."

Shortly after, a 4Chan user posted an image of the Pokémon Switch title, along with confirmation Pokémon Switch would have two versions: Pokémon Let's Go! Pikachu Edition and Pokémon Let's Go! Eevee Edition.

Rogers' blog asks readers to think about what Pokémon Go "might mean for the future of the Pokémon series." This lines up with the rumor that the upcoming Pokémon Switch titles will have gameplay mechanics of the mobile game, like a device allowing players to catch Pokémon without looking at their screen, similar to the Pokémon Go Plus.

Pokémon Let's Go! Pikachu and Eevee versions have not yet been confirmed to be part of the main Pokémon series, or spinoffs. The only information The Pokémon Company released on the matter was that it will be a traditional RPG.

Fans won't have to wait long for more information. The Pokémon Company has announced new games before E3 the last two years with both Sun and Moon and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, using the video game conference as an opportunity to reveal further details.

Nintendo's E3 2018 presentation will be Tuesday, June 12 at 12 p.m. EDT, and more information on Pokémon Switch will likely be revealed during the event.
