How to Get Galarian Slowbro in 'Pokémon Sword and Shield' Isle of Armor DLC

The only new Pokémon in the Isle of Armor DLC for Sword and Shield is Galarian Slowpoke and its evolution, Slowbro.

While Sword and Shield players already had access to Galarian Slowpoke when The Isle of Armor DLC was announced earlier this year, they were unable to evolve it. A special item is needed to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowbro and now that The Isle of Armor is accessible, so is this item.

Read on to learn how to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Slowbro and how to find the items needed.

Galarian Slowpoke can only evolve into Galarian Slowbro through a special item called the Galarica Cuff. This item acts like an evolution stone where you'll need to use it on your Galarian Slowpoke to cause its evolution.

However, you'll need to find Galarica Twigs in order to obtain this special item.

Trainers will need to find eight Galarica Twigs that are scattered throughout the Isle of Armor.

These twigs are presented as hidden items on the base of trees around the island. If you need a refresher, Hidden items are the glowing specs on the ground that can be picked up by standing next to it and pressing the A button.

Galarica Twigs spawn randomly on the base of trees and respawn occasionally so trainers will need to do some exploring and have patience to find eight of them. Once you've obtained eight Galarica Twigs, head over to the Field of Honor where the train station where you first arrived in The Isle of Armor is.

Hang a right toward the water and there should be an island in the distance. You'll use your Rotom Bike to bike across the water until you reach this island. You'll know your are on the correct island because this is the one where you'll find a random Rotom spawn each day.

On this island there is a non-playable character (NPC) there who you'll need to speak to. If you have a Galarian Slowpoke on your team when you speak to her, you'll receive a customization item for your trainer.

Trade your eight Galarica Twigs to obtain a Galarica Cuff.

The Isle of Armor DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield is available now for Nintendo Switch.
