Chloe Kim was the latest Team USA athlete to take the spotlight at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, Italy, as she had a dominant qualifying performance on Wednesday.

Kim, competing in the women's snowboard halfpipe event early Wednesday morning, set the standard. Her run achieved a score of 90.25 from judges, putting her atop all other competitors.

Her teammate Maddie Mastro finished third in qualifying, while teammate Bea Kim finished 10th overall. Both Team USA athletes will compete on Thursday, when the event's final takes place.

Following Kim's impressive performance in the event, the NFL star shared a video of her run on his official Instagram Story.

Garrett included an animated GIF of Snoopy at the bottom, holding a heart, to show love for his girlfriend as she continues her pursuit of gold.

Kim, whose impressive Winter Olympics run appears in an NBC Olympics video, tore a labrum last month while training in Laax, Switzerland. However, her recent performance didn't show any signs that the previous injury was a factor.

According to People, Kim, 25, and Garrett were linked as early as May 2025. They showed up as a couple for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Japan. They confirmed the relationship when Kim supported Garrett and the Browns in a game against the Las Vegas Raiders in November.

Garrett stars for the NFL's Cleveland Browns, and recently recorded the league's single-season sacks record, achieving 23 last season. That also earned him the Defensive Player of the Year Award at the NFL Honors ceremony, just before the Super Bowl.

Kim admitted she had no idea who Garrett was because she grew up in a Korean household where there wasn't much focus on American sports. However, they now have a strong relationship, and Garrett is among the many sending support and encouragement as Kim continues her Olympic journey.
