The father-son highlight moments continue for LeBron James and Bronny James as the Los Angeles Lakers make their way through the playoffs.
On Friday evening, the Lakeshow traveled to Houston to face the Rockets in Game 3. Already up 2-0 in the series, Los Angeles once again faced their first-round opponents without superstar Kevin Durant, who was injured, including, most recently, an ankle sprain.
Without KD on the court, the home team struggled, and LeBron and company took advantage. On one particular play, the Rockets' Reed Sheppard attempted a layup for a bucket, but was heavily defended by the Lakers' Deandre Ayton.

It all unfolded in the second quarter, with the Lakers leading 50-40. As LeBron secured the rebound and dribbled up the court, he noticed Bronny cut to the basket and immediately threw the ball toward the basket.
It seemed he knew his son's positioning well, likely from practice sessions at home and with the Lakers. The pass found Bronny as he went underneath the hoop and used one hand to do an underhanded, one-handed layup for the score.
Based on the audible reactions from inside the Rockets' arena, fans who saw it in person were awed by the highlight play courtsey of the James family.
Hoop Central shared the highlight clip on X, and it quickly racked up over 28,000 likes and 250-plus comments reacting to the sweet alley-oop play.
"Bronny might win a ring before Joel Embiid," a commenter joked in the X replies.
Another wrote, "This is sick but imagine Bronny hammered that down," with how he finished the layup.
"lebron and bronny playin like they at la fitness dawg rockets getting swept," a commenter wrote.
Others said, "If Bron dimed it perfectly, the building would've shook" and "a father throwing an alley oop to his son in a playoff game. in the NBA. this will be in documentaries for the next 50 years."
There were also several comments mentioning what happened after the Lakers' father-son duo recovered on defense. In the clip, Bronny backs up near his father, who gives him a shove, suggesting he get into position on defense.
As of this writing, the Lakers held a slim 85-81 lead in the early part of the fourth quarter, and LeBron had 22 points while his son had five points.
LeBron, 41, continues to give fatherly love and guidance to Bronny as he embarks on his early basketball journey. Meanwhile, nobody knows what the future holds for them as Lakers teammates, but fans are certainly enjoying the moments they get to witness before it potentially stops.
