Earlier this week, the Colorado Buffaloes won their second consecutive game to start the season, but head coach Deion Sanders didn't see enough in his team's 52-21 victory.

Although the Buffaloes are now 2-0 and Coach Prime seems to be keeping his job, he called out his team's performance and attitude, delivering a fiery locker room speech after the game.

"Is that a winning team, with a winning attitude?" he asked, allowing players to respond, "No, sir."

"Then what y'all gonna do about it? I always have to do something about it? Always have to check it? Always have to check every single day?" Sanders asked before yelling, "And the sad part about it, some of y'all are satisfied with that!

"You definitely ain't no dog. You ain't no killer, and you definitely no pro, and you can be satisfied with that!" he said, continuing, "I wouldn't go out and party and kick it, because there's gonna be a whole lot of conditioning tomorrow. A whole lot going on. I promise you that, because this is not the winning recipe to win it all.

"You guys are happy with winning the game. I'm trying to win it all!" Sanders yelled at his players in the locker room before asking, "Do y'all understand that?"

The video clip ended with a resounding "Yes, sir" in unison to Coach Prime's final question, suggesting the players knew what was ahead and the goal they needed to keep in mind this season.

Saturday's 21-point victory featured the Buffaloes recording 578 yards of offense. 398 of those yards came from the passing game, thanks mostly to Julian Lewis, who completed 17 of 23 passes for 366 yards and four touchdowns.

Joseph Williams and DeAndre Moore Jr. combined for 230 receiving yards and three touchdowns. On the ground, Micah Welch had 11 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown.

One wouldn't have known this team put together that sort of game from the way Sanders delivered that postgame speech. However, before his season even began, some critics and analysts, including ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, suggested his job might be on the line if his team performed as badly as they did last season.

So far, things are off to a great start this season, with their season-opening upset win at Georgia Tech, followed by a 21-point blowout of Weber State. Still, those two early wins aren't enough for Sanders' standards as a coach or former player, and he clearly doesn't want his Colorado players to adopt that mentality.

For him, it seems to be College Football Playoff National Championship or bust for Colorado. That is, unless he meant just winning the Big 12 Conference, which could be a tall task, especially with foes like Texas Tech, BYU, and Utah already off to great starts, too.
