In their second game of this college football season, Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns staged an epic comeback win against then-No. 1 Ohio State.
Manning's composure as quarterback in the fourth quarter helped the Longhorns storm back with three touchdowns to win 24-23. The early Heisman Trophy contender threw for 195 yards and one touchdown, with running back Hollywood Smothers scoring the Longhorns' other two touchdowns.
Everyone celebrated a huge win on the field, and ABC/ESPN's technical difficulties created a delay until they could cut to sideline reporter Holly Rowe's postgame interview with Texas coach Steve Sarkisian.

That led to Sarkisian yelling some words to celebrate his team and flashing the "Hook Em Horns" sign with his hands before rushing off to join his players.
Rowe had a frustrated look on her face over the abrupt end to her interview, and it brought backlash towards her online, as well as AI-generated videos mocking and making fun of the situation.
Arch Manning laughed about one of those AI videos he brought up at a press conference; then later apologized for the insensitive remarks. Rowe posted on her social media to acknowledge that they'd spoken and said she appreciated him reaching out.

Arch's uncle, two-time Super Bowl winner Eli Manning, recently shared his thoughts on working with the media and the postgame press conference controversy.
"I didn't reach out after that one; I think I reached out after the Ohio State game. ... [Told him I was] proud of him for hanging in there tough. Wasn't easy to start the game, but he stayed patient. That's how you have to play the game," Eli Manning told Front Office Sports.
He said most of the advice he gave his nephew was "more football stuff," but Manning also weighed in on the media situation involving Rowe. He wisely said that it's up to him to get a handle on it as he continues his career.
"He'll have to figure out that media on his own, and a lot of it is just kind of growing pains. You feel like [the media is] your pal, you relax with them a little bit, you try to be funny, and then they can take it and run," he said. "You gotta be careful. You gotta pick your moments where you can be funny, you can be relaxed, but there's certain things that you just gotta learn and deal with it."

Manning mentioned he believes his nephew "has learned" and issued an apology over the controversy, which was "the right steps" to handle the situation.
Any backlash has likely died down since then, with Arch Manning addressing the matter quickly. He shared his apology on social media, and Rowe also indicated that he reached out for a private conversation and that they could "move forward with respect and kindness for one another."
Rowe's second straight ABC primetime game brought another viral postgame interview moment. After defeating LSU this past Saturday, Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss participated fully in Rowe's interview on the field. He ended it by yelling "Hotty [expletive] Toddy!" with his F-bomb on live television before rushing away from the interview.
Next up, ABC/ESPN will present the primetime matchup featuring No. 23 Texas A&M and No. 10 LSU. One has to wonder if Rowe will get the postgame interview with LSU's often-controversial head coach, Lane Kiffin.
