Just recently, Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes lost another of their star players amid the busy college football transfer portal.

The latest departure is former five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton, who announced he was entering the portal earlier this week. He became the latest of many Buffaloes players to make the portal decision and the top-ranked player among their outgoing transfers.

One team's loss is another team's gain, and in this situation, Sanders' former Dallas Cowboys teammate, Michael Irvin, interjected with a pitch on which team he'd like Seaton to join. It's no surprise that it's his alma mater, the University of Miami, that is days away from competing for the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Taking to his X account, Irvin reshared the news that Seaton had decided to enter the portal, along with a message tagging Sanders and the Miami Hurricanes.

"If you are going to leave my boy @DeionSanders, you might as well, come and see his boy @CanesFootball ME!!!" Irvin wrote in resharing the news about Seaton's decision.

As it stands, Sanders’ Buffaloes have 32 incoming and 37 outgoing transfers, per 247Sports.com. While Seaton departed, Colorado gained commitments from Rutgers OT Taj White, Georgia’s Bo Hughley, and Missouri’s Jayven Richardson.

Irvin and Sanders were teammates with the Cowboys for five seasons, winning a Super Bowl together, and likely remain friends now that they're watching from the sidelines. One is watching more as a spectator and a fan, though.

Whether Seaton listens to Irvin's advice on social media remains to be seen. The Pro Football Hall of Famer was part of Miami's 1987 championship team and has been visible on the sidelines during their latest CFP run.

While there have been many portal moves for Colorado, the same isn’t true for Miami amid its CFP run. As of this report, they have just eight outgoing transfers and four incoming. None of those players are OTs, so Irvin may have a strong case for his pitch to Seaton to join the Hurricanes.
