The No. 2 seed Ohio State Buckeyes will play in the Cotton Bowl against the No. 10 seed Miami Hurricanes in the College Football Playoff (CFP) quarterfinals.

All eyes will be on Ohio State and Miami as the clock counts down to midnight. On the Buckeyes' side of things, head coach Ryan Day is opening up about a last-minute coaching change he's making for this game.

Day announced that Brian Hartline will be on the field and Keenan Bailey will be in the box for play calls in the Cotton Bowl. It's worth nothing that with Bailey in the box, it's a sign Day may be leaning to promoting him at the end of the season to offensive coordinator. But, either way, Day is breaking his silence on the move.

"It looks like Brian and I will be down on the field. We will have Keenan go upstairs, and then Brian can really help — he'll still be involved with everything we do, everybody is involved with the play calling, and ultimately I'll have the last say," Day said, as reported by Chase Brown of Eleven Warriors. "But (Brian) is gonna come down, help with the receivers, and Keenan will go up and help organizationally."

Going into the game, Ohio State has a fan in former Alabama Crimson Tide head football coach Nick Saban. Ahead of the showdown, Saban sent a warning to the Miami Hurricanes.

"I think Miami is going to have to do more on offense to beat Ohio State," Saban said on Tuesday on "The Pat McAfee Show" . "They really played in the bag against Texas A&M. They played really good defense, and they just ran the ball and ran the ball.

"But I think against Ohio State, it's going to be a little different story in terms of how they're going to have to score more points make some explosive plays, sort of run the ball, but then have play action passes and attack down the field some to try to create some explosive plays. They've got the quarterback to do it."
