A massive showdown featuring AP Top 25 teams, the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes and No. 4 Texas Longhorns, will be under the spotlight on Saturday night, with the potential to be an extremely competitive and closely contested matchup.

The two teams feature star players in Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning and Ohio State Buckeyes receiver Jeremiah Smith, both of whom could be among next year's top five NFL Draft picks.

Both teams also started their seasons with huge blowout wins. Texas routed Texas State, 59-7, while Ohio State blew out Ball State, 56-3. Now they'll clash to see who remains undefeated.

Ahead of the matchup, former Longhorns stars, Vince Young and Colt McCoy, shared their surprising predictions for what could be an epic game in Austin, Texas.

"I think Texas wins by 10. I don't think their running backs are that good. I think they've lost a bunch of guys on defense. I think we're extremely talented, and we're playing at home. It could be worse than 10. That's just my opinion," McCoy said on "The Stampede" from Austin, Texas.

However, Young took his prediction even further, suggesting a bigger win is coming for the Longhorns: "I think 17. I'll go 17."

Their former head coach, Mack Brown, was also there, but said he believed it would be an "absolute dogfight and a defensive game" and predicted that Texas would defeat Ohio State, 27-24.

These two teams met early last season on Aug. 30, but the Buckeyes hosted. It was a closely contested game, which Ohio State won 14-7. Manning completed 17 of 30 passes for 170 yards, a touchdown, and one interception.

Ohio State's Julian Sayin didn't play quite as well, completing 13 of 20 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown. He'll return to the field with his talented receiver, Smith, looking to have another big game.

Heading into Saturday night's rematch in Texas, Manning and the Longhorns are favored to win by 1.5 points, which suggests Brown could see his prediction come true, or close to it. If McCoy or Young are right, Texas could surge up the Top 25 polls to the No. 1 spot with a resounding win this weekend.
