The Baltimore Ravens just finished their most disappointing season in years, going just 8-9 and missing the playoffs in spite of entering the 2025 NFL campaign with Super Bowl aspirations.
It resulted in the firing of John Harbaugh after 18 years at the helm, and the Ravens will certainly need to consider a major makeover this offseason.

Of course, with Baltimore currently not having a very friendly cap situation, there is not a whole lot the Ravens can do in free agency, and even trades will be difficult (although that can change with roster cuts and contract restructures).
However, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic has identified a potential solution for Baltimore: swinging a trade for Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby.
"You want your defense to get off the field more often and end this pattern of gut-wrenching losses and blown leads? You want your defense to get back to being feared again? Be willing to dip into your draft capital and trade a young player or two to acquire Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby," Zrebiec wrote. "He’d completely change the face of the Ravens defense, which had a rough 2025."

It's rare to see Baltimore be a poor defensive team, but that is exactly what it was this season, finishing 24th in yards allowed and 18th in points allowed. Not only that, but the Ravens totaled just 30 sacks on the year, which ranked 30th in the league.
Acquiring Crosby would obviously change things for Baltimore.
The 28-year-old racked up 73 tackles, 10 sacks, an interception and six passes defended in 15 games this year and has registered four double-digit sack campaigns since entering the NFL in 2019. He topped out at 14.5 sacks in 2023.

Crosby signed a three-year, $106.5 million extension with the Raiders last March, but the two sides appear to be at odds, which could result in the five-time Pro Bowler being dealt this offseason.
There is no doubt that Crosby would be a fantastic addition for the Ravens, but whether or not it's actually realistic is debatable.
