At long last, it appears that the Kansas City Chiefs will get back two of its biggest stars. Running back Isiah Pacheco and defensive end Charles Omenihu are both set to play on Friday when the Chiefs take on the Las Vegas Raiders for a special Black Friday game.

Though the hope was that both Pacheco and Omenihu were ready to go for Week 12, that did not end up being the case. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid stated before Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers that the team was going to see how both stars performed during practice.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco

...

Pacheco has been out since Week 2 when he suffered a fractured fibula. Since then, the dynamic running back has been healing in an attempt to make it back to the field.

The Chiefs ended up reuniting with Kareem Hunt to make up for losing Pacheco. With his return, Kansas City might have one of the best running back duos in the entire NFL.

Omenihu suffered a torn ACL in the AFC Championship game during the 2023 season. Though he was unable to suit up for the Super Bowl, his efforts aided the Chiefs in securing the first back-to-back Super Bowl win since the New England Patriots accomplished that feat between the 2003 and 2004 seasons.

The good news is that even though it can typically take up to a year to recover from a torn ACL, Omenihu is ahead of schedule, and is now set to also take the field. The Chiefs defensive star secured seven sacks and two forced fumbles in 2023.

The Chiefs are starting to get healthy after being without some crucial players for most of the season. Much like Omenihu, wide receiver Hollywood Brown has yet to make his 2023 regular season debut.

Brown suffered a sternoclavicular injury in the preseason and was stated as not being able to make it back for the 2024 season. However, he has been showcasing a return on social media with a clock emoji.

In fact, Brown posted a training video on his Instagram of him in Chiefs gear catching footballs in a training facility. Reid also indicated that Brown would be set for a return during a recent press conference.

Kansas City is currently 10-1 on the season and is the clear favorite to claim the AFC crown once again. With Pacheco, Omenihu, and Brown returning, this team will be even more dangerous.

Pacheco and Omenihu will return sooner than Brown, as they hit the gridiron on Friday against the Raiders.
