Lamb's return is massive news for the Cowboys offense, which has been humming during his absence. George Pickens has exploded as the WR1 for Dak Prescott, putting together 525 yards and six touchdowns through six games.
Clearly, Pickens and Prescott have developed a huge chemistry with one another. With Lamb back in the lineup, this will also open up huge opportunities for the passing game to evolve even more.
Tight end Jake Ferguson has also been great in the passing game, securing 305 yards and four touchdowns.
Prescott is having an MVP-caliber year, and the Cowboys' offense is one of the best in the league. However, the defense has struggled thus far.
The Cowboys' defense is currently giving up an NFL-worst 411.7 yards per game to opposing offenses. Expect Dallas to work on a trade for some more pass rush help to stop this issue.
With a defense that is struggling, the offense has stepped up in a big way. The team is currently 2-3-1 on the season, in large part due to the play from Prescott and company. With Lamb back, the offense will be even more dangerous, and can help to run the score up while the defense figures out its struggles.
