The Philadelphia Eagles are heading into a difficult and critical game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend.

While the Buccaneers will be missing some key players, like offensive tackle Luke Goedeke, the Eagles announced that they'll be missing star wide receiver DeVonta Smith due to a concussion.

Now, it looks like another key offensive weapon will be missing from Philadelphia's roster against Tampa Bay.

According to a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, wide receiver A.J. Brown will be missing yet another game after injuring his hamstring.

Brown has only played one game so far this season. In the opening game against the Green Bay Packers, Brown recorded five receptions for 119 yards and one touchdown.

Additionally, Eagles linebacker Devin White will be out due to personal reasons, and offensive tackle Lane Johnson is questionable with a concussion.

Other players on Philadelphia's injury report are offensive tackle Mekhi Becton (Finger), guard Landon Dickerson (Wrist), cornerback Darius Slay (Knee), and defensive tackle Milton Williams (Groin).

Brown was selected by the Tennessee Titans with the 51st overall pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In his first season, he recorded 52 receptions for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns. He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

Despite suffering knee injuries early into his sophomore, Brown had another standout season, making 70 receptions for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was named to the Pro Bowl.

Brown's third and final season with Tennessee was also impacted by injury. Still, he recorded an impressive 63 receptions for 869 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games.

Brown was traded to the Eagles for the 18th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. This turned out to be a mistake because Brown had the best season of his career.

In 2023, Brown made 88 receptions for 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns, setting a franchise record for most receiving yards in a single season. He was named to his second Pro Bowl and was also a second-team All-Pro.

In Super Bowl LVII, Brown recorded six receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown. Still, the Eagles lost 38-35 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

2023 turned out to be another incredible year for Brown, making 106 receptions for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns. He set the record for most consecutive games with at least 125 receiving yards (six). Brown was once again named to the Pro Bowl and a second-team All-Pro.

Needless to say, Brown is arguably the most important offensive weapon on the Eagles' roster. Hopefully, he'll be able to return in time for Philadelphia's match-up against the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 13.
