Kansas City is now nearing full strength in terms of health. Rice is back in action, and second-year speedster wide receiver Xavier Worthy is gradually making strides. Mahomes is tied for the fourth-most touchdown passes with 14, and he's also fourth in passing yards with 1,800.

Its defense is also getting its mojo back. It entered Monday ranked third in points allowed, fifth in total points allowed and second in passing touchdowns given up, and it has held its opponents to 20 points or fewer in five of its last six games.
