Keon Coleman knows he's entering a make-or-break year with the Buffalo Bills.
The 23-year-old wide receiver admitted Wednesday that he feels he has something to prove after two seasons that haven't quite lived up to the expectations that came with being selected early in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
"Somewhat yes," Coleman said when asked if he feels like he's still got something to prove. "I'm on my third year, and I haven't done anything I said I wanted to do when it comes to production-wise on the field, and I just want to contribute to more wins."

That all sounds great, but Coleman didn't get off to the best start on Wednesday, opening training camp with a brutal early drop during 7-on-7 drills.
He responded the following play, catching a ball downfield from Josh Allen — but it still wasn't a great look for a player who has yet to prove himself at the NFL level.

Coleman has 67 catches for 960 yards and eight touchdowns through his first two seasons in Buffalo. Over that time, he's posted just two games with 100+ receiving yards and was benched for multiple games last season for "disciplinary reasons." Not what you expect from a near first-round pick.
Worse yet, he's trending in the wrong direction. After catching 29 passes for 556 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie — averaging 19.2 yards per catch — he finished last season with just 404 yards and four touchdowns on 38 receptions, averaging 10.6 yards per catch.

Both the general manager Brandon Beane and Allen have publicly backed Coleman already, so there's at least belief within the building this could be the year he puts it all together. But there's now only more competition in the room.
The Bills traded for veteran receiver DJ Moore in March and drafted UConn standout Skyler Bell, one of the more exciting wideouts in the 2026 NFL Draft. They also still have Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, Tyrell Shavers, Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox all competing for targets.
Now it's Coleman's chance to prove he belongs and can be the player Buffalo drafted him to be.
