As Maxx Crosby trade rumors continue to swirl about which NFL team could land him, there's also potential for the Las Vegas Raiders to keep their defensive star.
That would require repairing a reportedly fractured relationship between Crosby and the team. The Raiders placed their defensive end on injured reserve near the end of the season, and he was unable to play in the team's final two games despite reports suggesting he wanted to participate.
That led to further rumors and reports that he was unhappy with his situation with the team, and a trade out of Las Vegas would occur.

Rumors link a variety of teams to Crosby, including several Super Bowl contenders recently. Amid all the chaos of that speculation, Crosby, still on the Raiders roster as of this writing, fired off a message to fans.

On Monday, Crosby shared a powerful message on X (formerly Twitter) to remind fans to stay true to the person they are and not let others change them.
"There’s Only One YOU That Will Ever Exist… Why Tf Would You Waste Any Time Trying To Be Anything Else But The Best Version Of YOURSELF…. You’re 1 of 1… Never Forget That," Crosby wrote, also including a diamond and eagle emoji.
The latter emoji prompted some fans to wonder if he was alluding to a trade to the Philadelphia Eagles, a team recently linked to the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
"Did he just tell everyone he’s going to Philly," a commenter asked in the replies, while another said, "Totally agree Maxx. Now let’s go chase this ring in Dallas!"
A commenter wrote to Crosby, "Exactly Maxx, which proves you shouldn’t be on the raiders. GET OUT OF THERE MAN."
Most likely, Crosby was trying to encourage others with his X post, if it was him sharing that message rather than a social media account handler posting to his X account.
Recent chatter about Crosby rumors suggests a big trade could occur as early as this week. That would come on the heels of other recent trades, including the Detroit Lions' trade of running back David Montgomery to the Houston Texans.
While many fans hope Crosby will choose their specific NFL team, recent buzz suggests the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys are also keeping an eye on his availability, along with the Eagles.
