The Seattle Seahawks are the kings of the NFL, reigning and undisputed.

Following their drumming of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX, they left Levi's Stadium as the best team in the NFL and the odds-on favorite to repeat as champions going into 2026.

But after the first few hours of NFL free agency on Monday, those odds shifted, per DraftKings.

It's the team that owns the building and already won a Super Bowl in it a few years ago: the Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams, who were one red zone completion away from being in Super Bowl LX over Seattle, came into free agency knowing why they lost in the past campaign.

While they had the league's best offense and a strong defensive line, their secondary was held together by journeymen and reclamation projects. In the NFC title game against the Seahawks, Seattle exploited the Rams' secondary time and time again, being the difference in their heavyweight matchup.

What have the Rams done to fix that problem? Well, they traded for the best slot cornerback in football, Trent McDuffie of the Kansas City Chiefs, and then extended him to be the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL.

Although that could have been enough to push the Rams over the top, they doubled down on Chiefs corners, agreeing to terms with Jaylen Watson. Watson, a premier outside, physical corner, is also considered one of the top 15 or 20 players at his position in the NFL.

In one fell swoop, the Rams went from a below-average secondary to arguably the best in the NFL. They also came to terms with re-signing one of their standouts in the secondary, safety Kamren Curl, who often had to do more than asked due to the team's issues with their cornerbacks.

The Rams are now the odds-on favorites to win Super Bowl LXI. In the second position, it's the Seattle Seahawks, who could still move up or down depending on how they play free agency. And in third, it's the Buffalo Bills, who feel confident after trading for Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore.
