After making some noteworthy changes in the offseason, the New York Giants are a team that's garnered a lot of buzz since training camp began. Along with bringing in some veteran talent, the roster is loaded with exciting youth.

When it comes to the Giants' core, one of the primary standouts is wide receiver Malik Nabers. He quickly lived up to being a top-ten pick, putting together a strong rookie campaign despite some disarray around him. Based on how he looked last season, many believe the Giants wideout is well on his way to being a top talent at the position.

Even though New York underwent multiple changes at quarterback, Nabers still managed to put up strong numbers. Across 15 games, he notched over 1,200 receiving yards and found the end zone seven times.

Before the regular season gets underway, the people at The Athletic ranked the top 25 players under the age of 25 in the NFL. Nabers ended up making an appearance on this list, landing at No. 16.

"One of the few bright spots for the Giants last season," wrote The Athletic's Mike Jones. "Nabers had 109 catches for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns. Nabers' 109 receptions ranked fifth in the league and his 170 targets finished second behind Chase's 175. Chase was catching passes from bonafide star Joe Burrow. Nabers caught passes from four different quarterbacks last season."

As far as wide receivers go, Nabers is the third-highest player on the list. The only ones ahead of him are Amon-Ra St. Brown (No. 10) and Ja'Marr Chase (No. 1). Nabers also beat out a pair of dynamic young wideouts, landing just above Puka Nacua and Garrett Wilson.

Nabers' second season in the NFL hasn't been off to the greatest of starts, as injury has left him limited in training camp. However, things seem to be looking up for the Giants' wideout. Earlier this week, head coach Brian Daboll revealed that Nabers will be making his return to action.

Still with some time before the regular season gets underway, Nabers has a chance to get in a groove ahead of his sophomore campaign with the Giants.
