Through the regular season, Ridley secured 290 yards and no touchdowns. His struggles certainly tie into the Titans' struggles through the season thus far. Following Sunday, they dropped to 1-9 on the season, losing to the Houston Texans on a last-second field goal.
Ridley appeared in six games this season, missing three due to a hamstring injury. Now, he will be out for the rest of 2025. There was hope he would continue his ascent with the Titans this season, as he exploded with over 1,000 yards in the last two seasons.
Ridley signed a four-year, $92 million extension with the team in March 2024. With the Titans drafting Cam Ward No. 1 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, there were a lot of expectations for him to match up well with the veteran pass catcher.
That has not been the case, as Ridley missed multiple games, and the Titans have not appeared to be a very competitive team. Tennessee is likely to have a top-three pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and they can start building around Ward.
Ridley will be back in 2026, but he will spend the rest of the season recovering from a broken fibula.
