With the NFL trade deadline approaching, Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is one of the biggest names mentioned in speculation about potential deals.

Reports have suggested the struggling 2-6 team could look to reshape their roster, with the Pro Bowl running back among the players potentially available. ESPN's Stephen Holder reported on Thursday that Taylor is "the subject of talks between the Colts and multiple NFL teams."

That doesn't necessarily mean a trade will happen, though. During a recent episode of the "New Heights" podcast, retired NFL player Jason Kelce asked his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, which team could "really use" Taylor the most.

"Go ahead and stay right there in Indianapolis. Stay there, Jonathan," Kelce said, grinning.

"Enjoy being at one organization your whole life. Trust me, take it from two guys who have been there. It’s the best," he said.

Kelce's comment circulated on X through the Sleeper Colts account, drawing reactions from fans about the Chiefs star's stance on a potential Taylor trade.

"Just doesn’t want him going to a contender that would beat the Chiefs," one commenter replied.

"I’m a professional Travis Kelce translator and he is telling JT to not go to the Broncos," a commenter suggested.

Others commented, "Travis is just afraid he’d go to the Broncos" and "Oh he nervous about Denver getting him."

Some also pointed out that the Kelce brothers have won Super Bowl rings while playing for just one franchise, making it easier for them to advise Taylor to remain with the Colts.

While Travis Kelce made those eye-opening remarks suggesting that Taylor should gladly keep playing for the Colts, his brother gave a different perspective. Jason Kelce suggested that the Minnesota Vikings or Seattle Seahawks might make the most sense since they could use running back help.

Minnesota has drawn criticism for their lack of enough offensive firepower to make a serious playoff run to the Super Bowl. Adding Taylor might address that, and it would put him in the NFC, away from Kelce's Chiefs until at least a potential meeting in February 2027's big game.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks defeated the Chiefs 20-3 on Oct. 25 behind 410 yards of offense, including 153 rushing yards, and they didn't have Taylor in the lineup. Just imagine how dangerous the defending champions might become if they added him to the roster.

The NFL trade deadline arrives on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. ET, with everyone waiting to see if Taylor joins another team.
