Rumors have recently circulated suggesting that former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman could be on his way back to the company. The speculation, which pointed to a potential part-time return for the ex-WWE star, was noted by wrestling journalist Bill Apter in his dirtsheet.

However, Strowman himself has now commented on the rumor, stating that it is false. Speaking with Baby Huey on a recent episode of the In The Kliq podcast, Braun Strowman confirmed that he is not returning to WWE anytime soon, as his focus is on his other business ventures.

“Don’t believe the stuff you hear on these dirt sheets, because none of them are true. You’ll see me when I feel like letting you see me when it comes to that. But I’m really focused right now on the food space. I’ve got four movies that I’m attached to next year. I’m in talks with four or five other television shows.”

Strowman continued, explaining that while he misses performing, he is also benefiting from the time away to heal his body after a demanding WWE schedule.

“Don’t get me wrong, I still miss being in the ring, and these things are very capable of being passed out whenever I want to. But I’m also enjoying a little break, because my body is starting to somewhat feel normal. I’m getting some of these injuries healed up that were nagging for years and stuff like that, because I never really had time to fully recover from anything. It was just go, go, go.”

Strowman, who was released from his WWE contract in May 2025, also discussed his time with the company. He stated that he felt WWE never pushed him as the definitive top guy but instead used him as a second option. He explained that when there was an emergency or the company was in a difficult spot, they would always turn to him.

“I’ve always said this—I was never their plan A. But anytime the show was in turmoil or something was going wrong, there was this little glass box over here that said, ‘In case of emergency, break,’ and my name was underneath it. Because no matter what, when you hit that button—guess what happened? People tuned in and watched.”

While Strowman focuses on his new projects, his new food and travel show, Everything on the Menu, is set to premiere on October 24 on the USA Network, airing after SmackDown. Meanwhile, his former promotion, WWE, is building toward its next Premium Live Event, Survivor Series: WarGames.

The event is scheduled for November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. This will be the first Survivor Series to be held in an outdoor stadium and is being promoted as the final Survivor Series appearance for the retiring John Cena.
