Jade Cargill has reportedly ruffled some feathers behind the scenes ahead of WWE "WrestleMania 42." Cargill, who is the reigning WWE Women's Champion, recently found herself in a social media spat with Rhea Ripley, Chelsea Green, and even the injured Piper Niven. There had been some debate over whether or not Cargill's social media rants on Ripley and Green were pre-planned, but some were skeptical when the inactive Niven sent a shoot-style tweet taking aim at "The Storm's" in-ring abilities.

PWInsider reports that some WWE talent have been critical of Cargill's professionalism. The report noted that some within the professional wrestling company feel Cargill has been propped up by others, but she doesn't often return the favor. The feeling among some is that Cargill is "insecure," and it was suggested that the WWE Women's Champion disappeared from TV last year to allow for backstage issues to boil over.

Is it All A Work?

A portion of the WWE fanbase online isn't sold on Cargill's backstage heat being legitimate. X user "DUBS" doesn't appear to be concerned about the recent report, writing, "Dirtsheets getting worked, we up."

Another account, "VG Rasta," poked fun at the idea that Cargill and Ripley didn't manufacture their beef for "WrestleMania" season, "Yall thinking that Jade Cargill-Rhea Ripley beef was real?"

Cargill hasn't been shy in addressing her detractors on social media. If there are real backstage issues involving the top female champion of the "SmackDown" brand, it might be highlighted on the upcoming season of "WWE: Unreal" on Netflix. Some fans are convinced that even if the situation is a work, it'll still be featured on the reality series.
