Dezmond Xavier, known to WWE fans as former NXT North American Champion Wes Lee, has officially booked his first return date to the independent circuit following his release from the company.
House of Glory (HOG) announced on Thursday that Xavier will compete at their "Superclash" event. The show is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, and will take place in Brentwood on Long Island, New York. As of now, an opponent for Xavier has not been named for the event.
The 36-year-old wrestler was part of a small group of talent cuts made by WWE on October 10, 2025. The releases, which also included other NXT and WWE ID (developmental) wrestlers, came with a standard 30-day non-compete clause for NXT talent.

This clause makes Xavier eligible to compete again for other promotions just after his non-compete period ends. Xavier signed with WWE in 2020 and became a key talent featured on the NXT brand.

Now in his 14th year as a professional wrestler, Xavier began his career in the Maryland, Ohio, and Pennsylvania independent scene. He is also well-known for his time in TNA Wrestling, where he debuted in 2017.
He spent nearly four years with that promotion, where he was a prominent member of The Rascalz faction alongside his longtime teammate Zachary Wentz (formerly Nash Carter in WWE).
While Xavier prepares for his return to House of Glory, his former promotion is gearing up for "Saturday Night's Main Event" this weekend on November 1st, featuring two world title matches. Following that, WWE's next major Premium Live Event is "Survivor Series: WarGames" on November 29th in San Diego.
