Trish Stratus, who is scheduled to team with Tiffany Stratton against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae at the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE, has announced her next WWE appearance.

Stratus, who returned to WWE in early 2023 for a feud with Damage CTRL alongside Lita and Becky Lynch, expressed to TVInsider's Scott Fishman in late 204 that she feels she can't retire without having a match with Nia Jax. This led to fans thinking she had at least one more match left in her. During her 2023 run, Stratus turned heel, aligning with Zoey Stark and ultimately losing to Lynch in a steel cage match at WWE Payback.

Stratus later served as the host of the Money in the Bank 2024 Premium Live Event, where she had a segment with Tiffany Stratton, hinting at a future match. In a separate interview with Sports Illustrated, Stratus emphasized that any future wrestling appearances must have significant meaning for both herself and her fans.

Stratus showed up in this year's WWE Royal Rumble match when she entered the bout at #25. It was a logical move as the WWE Hall of Famer was already in town for the WWE/Fantastic meet-and-greet and signing session with fans in Indianapolis the day prior. Stratus has made surprise appearances in the Rumble in the past.

Coming out of this appearance, fans wondered what was next for her. The Elimination Chamber bout was set up on the February 16th episode of SmackDown as LeRae attacked Stratton during her WWE Women's Title defense against Nia Jax. Stratus made the save.

The WWE Hall of Famer has announced she will be at the February 28th WWE SmackDown event in Toronto. This follows an appearance on last week's SmackDown, where Jax attacked her.
