A longtime WWE veteran may be in for a more significant role on "Monday Night Raw." WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that Natalya's run as the "Low Key Legend" for independent professional wrestling events has impressed WWE officials. It was noted that WWE is now having Natalya use the gimmick on TV in hopes of giving her a more prominent spot on "Monday Night Raw."

Natalya has been helping current WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri in her training. WWE recently featured Natalya in one of Dupri's training videos. Dupri's first title defense is set to be against Ivy Nile.

Natalya's WWE Career

Natalya has been a member of the WWE roster since 2007, when she was in the company's developmental system. She worked at both Florida Championship Wrestling and Ohio Valley Wrestling. Natalya's main roster debut took place the following year. She defeated Cherry by forcing her to submit with the sharpshooter in her first "WWE SmackDown" match.

Over the years, Natalya found success on the main roster as a member of the Hart Dynasty. She managed the team of her husband, Tyson Kidd, and David Hart Smith. The Hart Dynasty captured tag team gold twice.

As a singles star, Natalya did capture world titles. She is a former WWE Divas Champion and she once held the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship. Natalya is also a former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, capturing the gold with Tamina.

Over the last few years, Natalya has more often been used to help elevate younger talent. Many fans have criticized WWE for not making more use of her talents as an on-air character. It appears the company is trying to change that for the "Low Key Legend."
