Watch: Liverpool Icon Steven Gerrard Announces Retirement

Steven Gerrard, the former Liverpool and England midfielder, has announced his retirement from football.
The 36-year-old moved from Liverpool, where he spent the entirety of his senior playing career in England, to Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer in 2015.
He confirmed his intention to leave MLS last week, when his contract expires in December. Gerrard, who won 114 England caps, had held preliminary talks with MK Dons, the English League One side, over the vacant manager's role, but described the move as "too soon" at such a formative stage of his coaching career.
Gerrard revealed the news in an interview with former England international Gary Lineker, to be broadcast on BT Sport.
