Steven Gerrard: Liverpool Legend Announces LA Galaxy Exit

Steven Gerrard, the former Liverpool midfielder and England captain, has announced his intention to leave Los Angeles Galaxy.
Gerrard, 36, joined the Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise in 2015 after narrowly failing to win his ultimate career objective, the English Premier League, under Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool in 2014.
However, the man capped 114 times by England between 2000 and 2014, scoring 21 goals, says this is "not the end" of his playing career.
"It's certainly not the end of me in football terms," Gerrard said.
"I am now looking forward to spending time with my family as I consider the next stage of my career."
Gerrard's decision comes in the same week his former England teammate Frank Lampard announced he would be leaving New York City FC when his contract expires in December.
