Trump Claims 'We Will WIN!' in Response to 'Million MAGA March' D.C. Turnout

As protesters gathered in Washington D.C. to rally against supposed voter fraud and to show their support for Donald Trump, the president tweeted out a message to those gathered for the 'Million MAGA March' by saying: "We will WIN!"

On Saturday, a large group of people supporting Trump gathered in support of the president, after the 2020 election was called for Joe Biden by the Associated Press and a number of the major TV networks. The protest was dubbed the 'March for Trump' or 'Stop the Steal' in addition to being called the 'Million MAGA March.'

Besides just Trump supporters, far-right group the Proud Boys were also at the event/ Some people on Twitter said that the Proud Boys were joined by InfoWars owner and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

The president quote-tweeted videos shared by White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications and Director of Social Media Dan Scavino, which showed the protesters.

In another tweet, which was flagged, Trump boasted about the number of people who attended.

"Hundreds of thousands of people showing their support in D.C. They will not stand for a Rigged and Corrupt Election," he wrote.

The number of people attending the protest have been disputed. According to USA Today, reporters estimated only tens of thousands of participants, although an exact number is unclear.

Sharing another photo of the crowd, Trump again referenced a debunked conspiracy theory that a glitch with Dominion Voting Systems cost him votes in the election. That tweet was also flagged by Twitter.

Trump has made numerous disputed claims, calling for investigations into voter fraud. According to The New York Times, Georgia will recount ballots, although Biden is still expected to win the state.

"The hand recount taking place in Georgia is a waste of time. They are not showing the matching signatures. Call off the recount until they allow the MATCH. Don't let the Radical Left Dems STEAL THE ELECTION," he wrote in a tweet that was later flagged.

Again, sharing a photo of the protests, Trump criticized news networks, singling out conservative-friendly Fox News, saying that they weren't "showing these massive gatherings." He also accused reporters of standing in "almost empty streets" and called it "SUPPRESSION BY THE PRESS."

As previously reported, Trump drove by supporters at the D.C. rally in his motorcade Saturday, waving to protesters through the closed window. The day before, he'd tweeted that the rally and others like it in other parts of the country was "heartwarming" and offered that he "may even try to stop by and say hello."
